Performance and Effective Appraisals

The Performance and Effective Appraisal skills course is an interactive workshop designed for people managing the performance and appraisals of employees.

It provides a combination of theory, skills development and practical exercises that will increase the professionalism, competence and confidence of the participants when conducting appraisal interviews and managing performance.

The workshop provides information in a practical and participative way. Participants are able to identify concerns, review the appraisal process and discuss good practice. The training focuses on the development of skills that can be put into immediate practice. Effective communication is the key factor underlying the success of an appraisal system and this is a key theme underlying the training.

The programme is delivered as an in-house programme and will be developed to respond to your particular issues and organisational requirements. It can be delivered in different formats.

Managing Your Own Appraisal

In many organisation appraisal and performance training is provided for people managing the performance of others. The idea of providing training to employees being appraised is much less common and this is a great mistake.
