Working effectively across cultures and nation states is exciting and rewarding. However, it can also be challenging when work practice and expectations are different.

This workshop helps participants to negotiate successfully barriers to business success. It will identify the challenges people may face and the impact that can have on a team.

It will enable them to develop practical ways to address communication issues and to understand and appreciate the values and world view of others.

The workshop is offered as a one day or two day event.

Course objectives

Identify the challenges participants may face working across multi-cultural teams
Examine the impact of in/out groups on an organisations’ s effectiveness
Ensure that staff have the ability to overcome any perceived international cultural barriers to business success
Formulate practical strategies for improving communication
Enhance the participants’ ability to work in a confident and effective manner which enables the organisation to achieve its business objectives efficiently
