“Just wanted to say thanks for today and the rest of the course. Whilst at times throughout the course I think I’ve not been in the “right place” to fully engage with it, today brought home to me some of the fantastic things I’ve learnt and developed over the course of the training. It has also made me realise that I’m actually pretty good at doing this job, despite it being a “tough gig”!!

We have a long standing and fruitful relationship with JML during which they have provided a series of leadership development programmes, management training, coaching for our executive team, facilitation of Directorate workshops and team building.

We have found their style of training helps us to breakdown communication barriers between Directorates and teams – this has been a key issue for us to address.

jml deliver learning events that are really participative, increase people’s confidence and result in positive change back in their workplace. One of our development programmes has a waiting list and there is a kudos attached to getting a place on the programme.

jml provided a Leadership programme for our senior social care managers. The programme consisted of group training and individual coaching sessions.

All the participants found the programme extremely beneficial both to themselves as individuals and to the effectiveness of the team as a whole. The programme was well thought out providing a well communicated structure and supporting documentation while maintaining a degree of flexibility to accommodate the group’s specific and changing needs.

Our trainer was highly knowledgeable and the sessions were appropriately challenging and relevant to our area of work. She is particularly skilled and insightful at identifying individual needs and priorities and in assisting the group to work more effectively as a team.

As a leadership team, the group have been able to use the programme to start to effect changes within our workplace. We have increased our confidence as leaders and will continue to work on and develop the learning gained from the programme.

JML Training Testimonial Housing Association – JML worked with us to create a bespoke training course based around diversity awareness and providing an excellent customer service. The course has been rolled out to all front line staff and we are now looking at running it for all back office staff as well. We have continually worked to develop the programme over the past 6 months and JML have taken into account that our needs are evolving. Using both our own training evaluation feedback and the feedback directly from JML, they have worked to develop the course as it is carried out.

The training consultant ran the courses very well and her training style engaged all staff. The biggest compliment I can give is that almost all staff who went into the course thinking it was just “another diversity course”, came out having found it both beneficial and really enjoyable. T S

From Awareness to Action course March 2010 – I recently attended the above course provided for —– & ——- on the 22nd March. C—– provide the Repairs service for T—- and we were invited to attend as a partnering exercise.

The course was delivered by Irene Clark, and I would just like to pass on my thanks for a well thought out course that was informative and very enjoyable. Irene has a very professional yet approachable training style and her knowledge of the subject was exceptional. I run a similar course for C—– and it was interesting to see the subject from a different perspective; Irene has a great sense of humour and made the whole day a great experience.
