jml Training & Consultancy

 jml was established in 1979 and in 1997 jml Training and Consultancy was created. Our experienced trainers work in the public and private sectors in the UK, Ireland and internationally.

The jml training approach is highly interactive. Backed up by our trainers’ considerable depth of knowledge of modern, professional management training, this has proved very effective in different types of organisations, countries and cultures.

jml Training includes the development and delivery of training in equal opportunities and diversity, change management, project management and managing partnership projects.

We develop and present training material for management development programmes for all levels of management and a management programme designed specifically for women.

We have built up an extensive knowledge of the equalities and diversity agenda, and have worked with a range of organisations on strategic planning, policy development and training. Much of the work has focussed on the incorporation of the equalities agenda into service delivery.

Clients to whom we have delivered training include government departments, NHS trusts, local authorities, establishments in the university sector, barristers chambers and the voluntary sector.

jml Training -Trainers: We use very experienced trainers, they usually have had experience working for public sector or private companies and organisations in the UK and overseas in the course of their career. This is a bonus when training in different types of organisations.

Gráinne Suter MA BSc who heads the company is a highly experienced consultant and trainer who specialises in leadership development and provides coaching to executive directors and senior management teams.

She is a member of The Association for Coaching and an Associate of Scollar Associates

Gráinne has considerable experience of training on capacity building projects overseas.  She has trained on behalf of the

•     British Council**

•     Westminster Foundation for Democracy

•     Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)

•     United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

In addition Gráinne Suter was a founder Director of midas training solutions, an associated company to jml Training and Consultancy for many years.

She has worked as an Associate Lecturer with the Open University. During this period she increased her understanding and gained much experience in the field of adult learning.
