of diversity and equal opportunities. It provides an
opportunity to develop practical skills through an analysis
of discriminatory practices. It also includes practical
work on how to ensure diversity policy is incorporated
into the daily business of the organisation.

Course Aim
This
one day course will provide an environment where participants
can increase their knowledge and awareness of diversity
and equalities legislation. The sessions will increase
awareness of how stereotypes occur and the influence
they have on behaviour. It will also explore the contribution
all staff can make to promote good practice.
