Understanding Oneself in the Diversity Context

Course Aim

To provide participants with a learning environment in which they can develop an informed and sensitive approach to diversity. The workshop encourages participants to value an open practice based on knowledge and learning rather than assumptions and stereotypes. It also enables them to develop the skills and confidence to become a force for positive change with partner agencies, planners and policy makers. 

As with all jml training courses, it is possible to adapt the course and the practical exercises to meet the needs of the participants as precisely as possible. For that reason we see this course outline as a starting point for discussion.
